Karl Rockwell, P.E. General Manager
Since 1980, Mr. Rockwell has been a practicing civil engineer specializing in design, construction management and office management. Mr. Rockwell is now responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the Prescott Valley office. Karl also heads the engineering division as the Project Manager in road, water, site, development, and school projects for private and public clients.
Significant experience prior to CRA includes being the Assistant County Engineer for Yavapai County, Arizona, having management responsibilities for highway design, survey, inspection, material testing, traffic engineering, para-archaeology, work zone safety, subdivision review and approval, permits for working in public right-of-way, regional transportation planning, and consultant design management. In addition, Mr. Rockwell was the Highway Division Manager for The American Samoa Department of Public Works. There he was responsible for highway design, inspection, material testing, survey, road maintenance, and capital planning with staff of 42. Duties included liaison with Federal Highway Administration, Army Corps of Engineers, Urban Mass Transit Administration, and local elected officials; consultant design management, road maintenance programs, staff training, project design and construction management.
