Prescott Valley Master Drainage Plan, Prescott Valley, AZ., 2002. For the Town of Prescott Valley, prepared a very comprehensive plan integrating GIS and traditional engineering approaches. The entire older developed areas of the town have been modeled using GeoHMS, a program that extracts drainage basins and characteristics from GIS based data. The results of the hydrological analysis, using HEC-HMS, alternative improvements and costs will be fed back into the town’s GIS data base.
Coconino Community College, Flagstaff, AZ., 2000. With the architect, Jones Studio, Phoenix, AZ., planning and design of a complete drainage system including 7 storm water detention ponds, approximately 2000 lineal feet of storm sewer, and a box culvert crossing of a FEMA delineated floodplain.
Lake Montezuma Estates Units 1 & 2, Area Drainage Master Study, Cottonwood, AZ., 1999. For the Yavapai County Flood Control District, completed an Area Drainage Master Study for a 270 acre existing subdivision area with a tributary drainage area of over 3 square miles. The study included developing alternative plans for channel improvements, cost estimates and floodplain delineation of about 2 miles of watercourse.
Sandretto Area Drainage Improvements, Prescott, AZ., 1999. For the City of Prescott, provided planning and design of storm sewers and roadway improvements for an area of the City of Prescott that had experienced frequent flooding. The improvements included a detention pond with a volume of 9 acre feet and storm sewers to provide positive outlets for 2 ponds that previously functioned as retention ponds.
Cliffside Trail/Pima Way Storm Water Runoff Project, Lake Montezuma, AZ., 1999. For the Yavapai County Flood Control District, supplied planning and design of 4800 lineal feet of storm sewer ranging in size from 18” through 78” in the Lake Montezuma area.
Mission Lane Outfall Design, Prescott Valley, AZ., 1999. Planning and design of street and drainage improvements along Mission Lane for the Town of Prescott Valley.
